iMOBHQ.COM announces the launch of it's Maharlika Portfolio. The goal of the portfolio is to invest in equity securities in companies that consistently pay dividends year after year.
"At times of a down turn like what we are currently experiencing, there are companies out there that is worth looking at." says the Maharlika Fund Manager, Mobi. "During such times it will be wise for investors to take positions or buy equities in companies that have strong and stable fundamentals. Companies such as Intel, Microsoft, Dow Chemicals are among a few that we are currently looking at. The prices of these companies are at a bargain during a downturn."
The goal of the MAHARLIKA portfolio is to acquire stakes in equity securities that pay dividends atleast .50 cents per share for each quarter. In some cases, the fund will acquire equity securities in companies that pay lower than .50 cents per share if the security pays dividend on a monthly basis or has a good opportunity to have capital gains. The fund looks for companies with P / E ratio between 5 to 50 and the securities are traded in high volumes. The fund also manages risk by looking at each securities beta and other Market and Industry risk factors.
