Usually at this time of the year, investors, like other people are looking forward to see Christmas.  But with Investors there is an added incentive that goes along when christmas comes.  Most people are spending their money during Christmas Holidays and Investors do the same.  The only difference is that Investors are also getting some gain during Christmas.  And this is what we call the Christmas Rally.  But with the US economy contracting, The Banking industry are in shambles, Companies trying to survive the credit squeeze are laying off people, Retail Sales are not pointing the right way, Oil Prices maybe low but there are still talks of recession and bad data coming out of the investment news the Christmas Rally that most investors are looking forward to each year might not happen.  This might be a year when Investor's Don't get to see the Chirstmas Rally.    But one sure thing is there this Christmas Season and that is lots of bargains Even for Investors this Christmas!
