The company said late Thursday that the dividend will be payable on Jan. 29, 2009, to shareholders of record on Dec. 29.

Part of the dividend, 60 cents per share, represents an accelerated payment of the fourth-quarter 2008 cash dividend that normally would have been paid in February. The remaining $1.48 per share is an additional dividend payment related to taxable gains from property sales this year.

The special dividend will be payable in a combination of cash and additional shares of common stock.
