In accordance with information given on our web site Nordic American Tanker Shipping Limited (the "Company") today announced that it expects to issue its 1st quarter 2009 dividend and earnings release May 5, 2009, before the opening of trading at NYSE.  The record date is expected to be May 20, 2009, and the payment of dividend is expected to take place on or about June 3, 2009.
